Design Your Own Adapter

Step 1: Measure Your Cylinder

Measure with calipers:

  • Inner diameter: Where the key goes (typically 7-9mm)
  • Outer diameter: Body of the knob (typically 22-28mm)
  • Height: How tall the knob is

Step 2: Get Nuki Interface Dimensions

The adapter must interface with the Nuki’s mounting socket. Download an existing adapter STEP file and measure the Nuki-side interface.

Step 4: Test and Iterate

  1. Print at 0.2mm layer height first (faster)
  2. Test fit on cylinder
  3. Adjust dimensions
  4. Print final at 0.1mm layer height
  5. Test with Nuki
